I am a ceramic artist from Philadelphia and am currently living in Northeast Ohio. I am an enthusiastic artist and educator, always having fun in the studio.
I am the Ceramics Department Coordinator and 3D Technician at the University of Akron, overseeing the ceramics, sculpture, and metalsmithing facilities and operations. In addition, I teach ceramics at Cuyahoga Community College and Continuing Ed at the Cleveland Institute of Art. Before moving to Ohio I was an Artist in Residence at the LUX Center for the Arts in Lincoln Nebraska. I received my MFA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2020. I received my BFA in Ceramics from Tyler School of Art at Temple University in 2017. I also received a k-12 Art Education Certificate along with my BFA.
In addition to teaching classes and workshops for kids and adults, I enjoy the labor of the studio, including building and fixing kilns and helping students troubleshoot problems with materials and firing.
